Back on Top

The first time I had the Thai Iced Tea Gelato it became my number one favorite even before I finished my first bowl. It was so strong and flavorful like a good glass of liquid Thai Iced Tea. It was still number one before I had it for the second time about a month and a half later, but the second batch was a lot weaker than the first. I still liked it but it slipped down to number three or maybe four. Every time a great flavor came out it would become number one. Chai, Lychee, Caped Gooseberry, Champagne Mango, have all held the number one position. The other day I saw Thai Iced Tea on the daily list. I was unsure which Thai Iced Tea would be the one they made. Would it be the delicious one that was strong and flavorful like the first time or would the weaker, maybe less risky one be the norm. I walked in and saw that it was a darker orange than the second batch, a good sign. I had a taste and felt just like I had the first time I tried it. It was so creamy and flavorful. The taste of the tea cutting the cream and the spices coming in to complete the flavor. It was sosooosososososososoosos good! Jeannie asked if I wanted a small or a pint. I looked at her and she knew. It was definitely pint worthy. I am so glad that the second batch was a fluke, a temporary lapse, maybe they ran out of tea that time and I would hope that it would never happen again. Thai Iced Tea is definitely back on top and as long as it tastes as good as this last batch it will be hard to topple.
